🎤 Advanced Voice Mode on ChatGPT

OpenAI’s Advanced Voice Mode is now available on the iOS and Android ChatGPT apps, offering more natural and real-time conversations with emotional and non-verbal cues. Here’s what you need to know:
Availability: Currently in limited alpha, accessible to a few users on Plus accounts.
How to Access: If invited, you’ll receive an email and see a tooltip in the app to try Advanced Voice Mode.
Key Features:
Real-Time Conversations: Engage in more natural dialogues with enhanced emotional and contextual understanding.
Rate Limits: Usage is limited daily, with a warning when you have 3 minutes left.
Control Options: Mute/unmute your mic, end conversations, and switch back to standard Voice Mode as needed.
Limitations: No support for memory, custom instructions, GPTs, or generating musical content yet. Not optimised for in-car Bluetooth or speakerphone use.
Future Plans: Advanced Voice Mode is expected to be available to all Plus users by fall, with video and screensharing features coming later.
🎨 Canva Acquires Leonardo.Ai to Enhance Visual AI Tools

Canva has acquired Leonardo.Ai, a leading generative AI platform, to strengthen its suite of AI-powered design tools. This acquisition supports Canva’s ongoing efforts to empower users with innovative visual communication capabilities.
Leonardo.Ai is known for its advanced AI-generated images, graphics, and videos. The platform will continue to operate independently while benefiting from Canva’s resources, allowing for accelerated development and integration into Canva’s existing tools like Magic Media.
Both Canva and Leonardo share a vision of democratising AI and enhancing creative potential. This partnership aims to expand the tools available for designers, marketers, and educators, enabling more powerful and efficient visual content creation.
Leonardo’s AI models will be gradually integrated into Canva’s platform, offering users new and enhanced tools. More updates will be shared as the integration progresses.
